Danu Ring
Hand-sculpted in wax and cast in solid sterling silver, the Danu Ring is a one-of-one sculptural piece defined by irregular form, quiet weight, and grounded presence.
Named for Danu, a figure associated with origin, earth, and permanence, its shape resists symmetry — developing through instinctive movement and gradual refinement rather than strict structure.
This piece took shape slowly in the studio. I wanted it to feel resolved without appearing overly refined — something organic, tactile, and strong enough to carry a quiet permanence. It was quite a difficult piece to make - it is weighty, and has a thick band. It is hugely sculptural.
Each piece begins as an original wax sculpture before being cast using the traditional lost wax process. The wax is destroyed during casting, meaning no exact version can be recreated. Natural irregularities, subtle shifts in surface, and maker’s marks remain as part of its history.

Sizing
Note: due to the band being extra wide and also shaped, and given the weight of this piece being much higher than a "high street" ring, it may feel tighter than expected while wearing it. Should you wish to discuss the possibility of resizing the piece, please get in touch to discuss.

Presentation
Your ring will arrive enclosed in a keepsake box, prepared for gifting and long-term safekeeping.
Care
Store in a dry place and clean gently with a soft cloth when needed. As this piece is sterling silver - and the most sculptural from the collection - it may require some cleaning in the future as it develops a natural patina. Complimentary cleaning and repair is included for the collector as standard.
